Lynn Ng

Naturally curious, hungry for improvement, idealistic but with healthy dose of pragmatism.

Started as a management trainee with Standard Chartered Bank in 1993, and after 3.5 years there, I joined Rabobank where I learnt more about Commodity Finance in the Food & Agri space. Followed my manager to Fortis, and subsequently left in 2003 to build a new and fairly successful TCF/SMEF business at HSH Nordbank covering the full Commodity spectrum. Whilst there, I caught ING’s attention as the Commodity Clients were raving about the small but effective HSH Nordbank team, and was invited to join ING in 2007 as Head of the TCF team in Singapore. Been in ING now for a little over 10 years, and now responsible as Global Head for the Commodities, Food & Agri.

Proudest achievement: Being part of a Global Top 3 Commodity Finance Bank!

MSc in Financial Engineering, National University of Singapore, 2001.
