  ANDREA CORNWELL - PRESIDENT   Andrea lead’s Vale’s Coal Marketing and Sales Administration group, focusing on their global strategic marketing activities and the development of the large scale greenfield Moatize mine project in Mozambique. She has been in the coal industry for 24 years, as one of few women, in various sales and marketing, technical marketing, strategy and commercial capacities at BHP, Shell, and Anglo American, before joining Vale over 5 years ago. She has a passion for the industry and the people within it.

Irina is a Supply Chain Planner with over 8 years experience in various commodities at BHP and South32 Marketing. She is currently working on the ERP Transformation project applying her supply chain and systems expertise to shape the future of technology used by the Marketing team. Irina holds a Masters degree in Economics and the early years in her career were spent across various roles in the shipping and logistics industry in the Netherlands. Irina is a supporter of flexible working arrangements and juggles work and spending time with her two boys. Favourite past times are feeding the turtles at the park, otter watching along the river and scooting around the Gardens by the Bay. She loves to travel and explore new places with her family.
